Laut Publisher 2k Games wird der nächste große Patch für Civilization V den (lang erwarteten) Hotseat-Modus mit sich bringen. Dieser Spielmodus ermöglicht es, dass mehrere Personen abwechselnd an einem Computer mit- oder gegeneinander spielen können. Außerdem sind für das Update noch weitere Verbesserungen geplant, die aber erst in den nächsten Wochen verraten werden sollen. Nach aktueller Lage der Dinge wird der Patch im Juni oder Anfang Juli erscheinen.
